Taking a moment to look from side to side, the man observed the rustboro skyline for but a moment before finally turning towards the rooftop battlefield.

"Wasn't expecting you back in the circuit, Mr. Benoit." The blonde said as he walked up to his end of the battlefield, producing a luxury ball from his sleeve with a flick of the wrist. "Perhaps you'll indulge my curiosity, once this is over?"

His Alolan Sandlash took to the battlefield, her back spikes jittering and trembling in excitement as the sun shone down upon her.

As the elevator chimed, Thomas turned to face it. Thomas smiled fondly as his mentor stepped out from the elevator. "Lord Gwyar, it's so good to see you.", Thomas greeted the older man. "Guess you could say I'm full of surprises.", Thomas remarked with a grin.

"Of course."

Thomas brought out Voltanis the Vikavolt. The electric beetle did a flip through the air, eager to battle with the Alolan Sandslash. "Challenger gets the first move."

"Very well." Gwyar said, nodding at his Sandslash. "Begin.

With a screech, the icy porcupine's arms spread out wide, the roar of a whipping blizzard barreling through the rooftop as a snowstorm exploded outwards in a radius around him.

The sky darkened as tumultuous, stormy weather took over, heavy snow falling around them and casting a white curtain before them.

The sound of grinding claws filled the air as the Sandslash stepped back into the white blank, seemingly disappearing into the blizzard.

TL;DR:
-Ridelle used Snowscape.
-The weather turned to a Snow storm.
-Ridelle used Swords Dance.
-Ridelle's Snow Cloak ability activates.
